Although originally born in Virginia, Dr. Zwiren, has called Atlanta home since 1961 with his father being the first pediatric surgeon to establish a practice in the area. Upon attending Oxford College of Emory University and the University of Georgia he obtained his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. Dr. Zwiren went on to complete his surgical residency at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine as well as a Plastic Surgical Residency at The Ohio State University Hospitals College of Medicine. Following his residency and fellowship Dr. Zwiren returned to Atlanta and established his plastic surgery practice in Gwinnett County. Always active in the medical community, Dr. Zwiren is currently the treasurer of the Georgia Society for Plastic Surgery and continues to interact with our local and state elected officials in the interest of Georgia citizens.
